For nearly 30 years Big Red Curtain Performing Arts has always endeavoured to hold Annual Charity Performances as a way to give our students the opportunity to perform whilst also raising money for a chosen charity for the year, sadly since Covid the amount of charity performances we have been able to provide has been limited as the associated costs have continued to rise however this year we are pleased to be bringing our Charity Performance to support Yorkshire Cancer Research a charity that is particularly important to the Big Red Curtain Team as one of our Directors was diagnosed with Stage 3 Bowel Cancer in 2025 and is still recovering from cancer surgery and chemotherapy.
We wanted to arrange an evening of fantastic live music to support this very worthy charity whilst giving our students a platform to perform and hope to raise as much money as possible and look forward to welcoming everyone from the local community to support this event.
Join us on Sunday 10th May 2026 at the Riley Smith Hall, Tadcaster for our Charity Cabaret Evening a fantastic night of entertainment with performances from our talented Stage School Students some special guests and featuring live music from the Anchormen Jazz Orchestra with all profits donated to Yorkshire Cancer Research , Ticket price includes welcome drink on arrival!
